I feel my presentation definitely reflected some of the things I've learnt through PPP this year. The inspiration I took from the studios I look up to I put into this presentation itself, and the confidence I have gained in the design industry I partly owe to PPP. This is because after asking studios how they got started, seeing their work from when they first started and being able to talk to successful designers has really put into perspective their journeys and how I can further myself professionally and personally to mould myself into a successful designer and entrepeneur.
After doing this research in PPP, I have discovered a hobby for business that I didn't before, and I have done further research in my own time to learn how to create my own business as I have never enjoyed the idea of working for someone, I would rather work for myself and form my own future, instead of someone else controlling it for me.
Putting my best work onto a presentation and seeing it in context also gave me a massive confidence boost as I feel it matches a professional standard that I simply didn't possess a year ago or even six months ago. I really enjoyed PPP this year as I found it to directly impact my immediate confidence within the industry and this presentation was my chance to output my confidence and creativity and to consolidate all of my learning into a single element.
